    What Digital tv technologies at present are considered as competitive theat to dsl based IPTV technology?

    Mainly cable tv because two main reasons:

    • The set of features that can be provided to the final customer are quite similar (at least, the killer ones such as VoD)
    • Cable operators have lots of experience in the television business

    Satellite can compete in the TV arena, but obviosly cannot provide triple/quadruple play services, at least not in a natural way
